Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use the scientific functions?
Enter a number using the number buttons, then press the function button (sin, cos, sqrt, etc.) to apply it immediately to that number.
What is the difference between DEG and RAD?
DEG uses degrees for trigonometric functions (where a full circle is 360). RAD uses radians (where a full circle is 2pi). Click the DEG/RAD button to switch.
How do I calculate a power like 2 to the power of 8?
Enter 2, press x^y, then enter 8, then press = to get the result.
How does memory work?
M+ adds the current number to memory. M- subtracts it. MR recalls the stored value. MC clears the memory to zero.
Can I calculate factorials?
Yes. Enter a whole number and press n! to calculate the factorial. Works for whole numbers up to about 170 before the result becomes too large.
